STORY.
We are living, breathing and all-experiencing organisms existing in a modern, chaotic and claustrophobic world. Within it, we are experiencing a disconnect, with our environments, our experiences and our selves. We are bound by social conditioning, stigmas and unobtainable expectations. We are the tamed.
From the get-go of starting my own Pelvic health physiotherapy practice, I always wanted the organisation and space I was creating to be more than just physiotherapy.
Through the intimate nature of my job, and my own (ever on-going) healing journey, I found myself becoming more and more curious about our relationship to ourselves, particularly our bodies...and I began asking some big questions.
Why are we so disconnected? Why are we so afraid to feel? What's with all the shame-soaked narratives around women and our bodies? Why do we mistrust ourselves so completely? Why have we seemed to have forgotten who we are...

I longed to create safe and empowering spaces for self exploration, (re)connection and transformation. The purpose of Leaven Well is to invite and encourage one another on the journey to our deeper selves, to further our individual and collective evolution. To openheartedly explore what it means to be human.
